
DR. SHIELDS /
As a guest lecturer, Dr. Shields has given more than 200 presentations at various medical association meetings, grand rounds and university seminars.
Dr. Shields’ research is widely published in such journals as the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, American Journal of Sports Medicine, Clinical Orthopaedics and Arthroscopy; he has been a contributing author to several books. Dr. Shields, current research includes perioperative management in orthopaedic surgery and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction.
